Storm Damage February 2010
Portsmouth Emergency Management is seeking information from privately owned homes and businesses damaged as a result of the recent wind storm. This information is being collected to determine if the Community may meet the Federal Disaster Guidelines and threshold for offering of Individual Assistance for repairs and Business Economic losses as a result of the storm. In general to meet the Federal Guidelines the home must be your primary residence and sustained damage or Economic loss that is not covered by insurance. For more specific information on covered losses please visit www.fema.gov and search for information on “Disaster Assistance for Individuals”.
If you wish to report damage to your property please send an e-mail to webmaster@cityofportsmouth.com and include your NAME, PROPERTY ADDRESS, CONTACT NUMBER, TYPE and EXTENT of DAMAGE SUSTAINED (Please include one of the categories of damage defined by FEMA A-F (pdf)), and if the damage is covered by INSURANCE.We thank you very much for your support.
