  The mission of the Department of Public Works is to provide municipal Public Works functions for the benefit of our citizens, businesses and visitors in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

  It is responsible for maintaining the municipal infrastructure that includes all City streets, parks, municipal buildings, the water system, and the sanitary sewer collection and treatment system.

  The Department operates a variety of public works programs and is made up of four divisions.
